    pg 565. 15 Aug. 1843. Will of James Jones.
    I, James Jones do make this will. 1st, I direct that my funeral expenses and my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible.
    2nd, I give to my wife, Charity Jones, all my household furniture, one cow, all the rents of my lands as long as she lives then to be divided equally between all my children [not named].
    I appoint Isaac Jones and Alsa Jones my executors.
    Witnessed by Bird Spurlock and Joshua Moore.

    pg 229. 8 Feb. 1847. Settlement with Isaac Jones and Alsa Jones, executors of James Jones, dec'd. Alsa allowed $14.00 for his services for 10 days. Isaac Jones allowd $15.00 for his trip to Nashville for grants.
