I leave my outlands and personal estate to be divided at the discretion of my Executors agreeable to my above mentioned plan. I name and appoint my loving wife Elizabeth, Col. Richard Kennon, Capt. Mrs. Graham was a descendant of Tahpanes Ward Webber a daughter of Richard Ward & Frances Worsham. Mrs. Graham died in 1933 in New York City. The location of the Bible is unknown at this time. Jack Webber has a transcript copy of the Bible record and posted the transcript on Genforum on 28 Oct 2005. (Brenda Reed & Charles Ward-2005) It was interesting to note that Tahpenes Ward m. Phillip Webber 14 Oct 1751 and they had a son Essex Webber b 19 May 1769 & a daughter Ann Bevill Webber born 25 Oct 1775. Ann Bevill Webber m Richard Ligon 10 Sep 1797. The grandson's name of Essex Webber & the granddaughter's middle name of Bevill links Frances Worsham to Charles Worsham & Mary Beville. In the law suit in Henrico Co. Sep Court 1722 between Richard Havewell, lesee of John Worsham Plt. Vs Mary & Wm Worsham Deft, it was brought out in the suit that when Charles, husband of Mary, died he left 3 sons & 2 daughters which were still living. The transcript of the Bible entries are: Richard Ward and Frances Worsham was married December 18th 1716 Phillip Webber and Tahpenes Ward was married October 14th 1751 Richard Ligon and Ann Bevill Webber was married September 10th 1797 Alfred Wood married Tabitha Ward Ligon December 22 1822 William Richard Wood and Lucy Henry Southall were married August 25th 1847 Nannie Jane Wood married David Malcolm Wilkinson April 14th 1857 John Webber born August 15th 1752 Frances Webber born September 10th 1754 died September 14th 1754 Richard Webber born May 24th 1756 Phillip Webber born April 30th 1758 Benjamin Webber born October 6th 1760 Mary Webber born October 27th 1763 died November 3d 1763 Seth Ward Webber born March 20th 1766 Essex Webber born May 19th 1769 died October 8th 1773 Simeon Webber born January 16yth 1772 Ann Bevill Webber born October 25th 1775 Richard Ligon born Jul 18th 1798 Daniel Ligon born December 22d 1799 Archibald Ligon born August 10th 1802 Tabitha Ward Ligon born June 10th 1804 Rachie Ligon born August 10th 1806 Catherine Ligon born December 11th 1808 Henry Ligon born February 11th 1811 George Ligon born June 7th 1813 Judith Ligon born February 1st 1815 Because of this obvious link of Frances Worsham & Richard Ward to the Charles & Mary Beville Worsham family, it is now believed that their third son is Charles Worsham who was born about 1695 and is numbered 1.5.5. He should be renumbered as 1.5.4. & Frances should be numbered 1.5.5. Charles Worsham m. Elizabeth and their family is covered beginning Page 297. Originally we stated on Page 28 of our book that the third son could be either Charles or Francis Worsham. It is doubtful that Charles & Mary Beville would name two children Frances & Francis; therefore, it becomes evident that Francis was not a son of Charles. It is more likely that Charles & Mary Beville would name a son Charles after Charles, Sr. and not after Charles Worsham's stepfather Francis Epes. Francis Worsham's family is covered on Page 563. His number is 1.5.5. His parents' names are still unknown at this time; therefore, his number should begin with 1. Children of Frances Worsham & Richard Ward: 1.5.5.1.
