Richard, born in St. Kernerve, Cornwall, England, it is said that he was an indentured servent in 1620. He brought over his wife, Alice in 1639, along with 5 other people. He was a plantation owner.
Richard and Alice had four children:
*Katherine Nance (1642-1691)
*William Nance (1649-1727)
*John Webb Nance (1645-1716)
*Thomas Nance (1644-1737)
(I am not sure that he is buried here but Nance's Shop may be where his plantation was.)
