  Because R1b’s claim Alloways’ - Also has son born in Albermarle… Albermarle Stranges come from Alex line.. Look at possibilities of this: Edmond Alloway 1660 Goochland, Rose Edward 1630 Orkney (m. Phebe) William 1601 David Magnus 1560 But this can’t be right the dates are off 200 years! He had 9 slaves; possibly children. Was supposedly the “baby left on the doorstep”; a story told by more than one family group unrealted, and told to John Drake Strange III & John Mayer on separate occasions.
