    • Enlisted in 1780 in Captain Davis Company serving three months in North Carolina, Col. Bell’s Regiment. Enlisted in the winter after serving 4-5 weeks in Captian Smith’s Co. Enlisted in 1782 serving 3 months in Captain Peter Hendrick’s Co. Participated in the Battle of Camden, said engagement taking plcae at Coulson with the Tories. While residing in Laurens, SC, he made application for a pension which was granted for his service as above indicated. Pension commenced 04 Mar 1831.
