KEY Catherine Leoma Key, 75, of Oklahoma City, passed away December 6, 2004 due to complications of Parkinson's Disease. She was born, March 3, 1929 to Gary & Leoma Taylor in Mineral Wells, Texas. She married her high school sweetheart, Bill Key, who had just returned from naval service. They were blessed with three sons while in Texas and in 1962, moved to Oklahoma City. It was here where Catherine began a life-long devotion of service to others. She was involved in scouting and was PTA president at Council Grove Elementary. She taught Sunday School at her church home, Northwest Church of Christ. She was also involved with the Southwest Guidance Center and was President for the Lioness Club from 1987 to 88. Catherine was an in home caregiver and loved animals. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bill Key of Oklahoma City, 3 sons and their spouses, Paul & Vella Key of Edmond, Charles & Janice Key of Oklahoma City, and Tim & Sandy Key of Sherman, Texas. She also had 7 grandchildren, Kyan Hayden, Vanessa Schwarz, Amy Jinkins, Brandy Gilmore, Josh Key, Jacob Key & Chelsea Key and 5 great grandchildren. Her siblings include, Martha Jones of Houston, Texas, Flodelle Rainey and Greta Watson both of Odessa, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brother Daniel Taylor and her parents Gary Taylor and Leoma Taylor Matthews all of Odessa. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Northwest Church of Christ, 4301 NW 23rd, in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Northwest Church of Christ Children's Ministry.
